August 14, 2015 Chart of the Week: Wealth Plus Smarts Equals PatentsAmerican third graders who were good at math and had wealthy parents were 3 to 4 times more likely to file patents later in life than their less wealthy—but equally smart—peers, according to research from Raj Chetty, the Bloomberg Professor of Economics at Harvard University.
