April 02, 2014 Vast Majority of U.S. Entrepreneur Visas Go to Investors from ChinaMore than 80% of last year's special U.S. visas for immigrant entrepreneurs were issued to people from China, up from just 13% a decade ago, according to CNN. The EB-5 visa program, which requires a commitment of $500,000 and a promise to create 10 jobs in America, is increasingly affordable to entrepreneurs in China, where household wealth is booming.
